Weezer: The Gathering

The concert of the summer is here! Weezer, The Shins and Silversun Pickups will be at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, October 9th, 2026 as part of Weezer: The Gathering. This is a special concert series of three nights where three pioneering acts of the modern rock scene will play the unbeaten music of different generations of genre-defining artists. These three powerhouse bands will perform back to back to back sets of hits that thousands of fans will sing along to all night long. Every level of the venue will be able to feel the vibrant, pulsating vibe of the concert.

Weezer

Weezer is known for their many hit songs in rock music. Some of the songs that Weezer fans will be able to sing along to at their upcoming concert are some of the biggest hits in rock music including “Buddy Holly,” “Say It Ain’t So,” “Island in the Sun,” and “Undone – The Sweater Song.” The band has been working on a new album and in 2022 released “SZNZ: Winter” which is the first of a 4 season album and the band is continuing to work on the other 3 seasons and is evolving as a band but will still remain a power-pop group. Rivers Cuomo will bring the same passion and energy that he brings to every Weezer performance and Weezer fans will be able to sing along to many of their favorite songs. With over 35 million records sold in the US alone and multiple Grammy nominations Weezer is a modern rock legend.

The Shins

The Shins bring their very own brand of music to fans as they travel the world. Their songs transport fans to another world in their dreamy, intricate, arrangements. The thoughtful lyrics found in songs by The Shins have even influenced a whole generation of other indie musicians. The alternative rock scene has been left with a lasting mark from this band. The band’s songs will unfold in a very unique and majestic way at this concert. Fans of The Shins can experience the beauty of their song arrangements at this show. Silversun Pickups

Silversun Pickups: The indie rock group is known for their brooding and intense alternative sound and will perform hits such as “Lazy Eye,” “Panic Switch,” and “The Royal We.” The group is currently working on new music after the release of their 2022 album “Physical Thrills,” which explores more aural landscapes and allows the listener to explore the group’s take on different sounds and music. With Silversun Pickups, you can expect to experience intense guitar walls and powerful vocals by Brian Aubert, which connects with fans of all ages. The group’s unique ability to produce heavy and accessible songs has created a huge following of fans who appreciate their take on the indie rock genre.

Bridgestone Arena Overview

Bridgestone Arena is a top venue in Nashville, Tennessee and is the home of the Nashville Predators hockey team. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Bridgestone Arena is a great venue to see a concert because it has excellent sound and great views from every seat. The venue has 5 levels of seating which include the Club Seating areas, the Suite Level, the Loge Level, the Mezzanine Level and the 200 Level. 

Car Parking Lots

There are several large car parking lots around the venue where you can park your car for the Weezer: The Gathering concert. Many of these parking facilities are within short walking distance to the venue. In addition, there are numerous street parking lots throughout many of the nearby residential neighborhoods.
